About this Course

Join us at Camp Wanna-Go for Canada Week! Campers will be playing games and making crafts, all with a true north twist! Each day, campers will be making unique Canadian crafts and playing Canada inspired games! Celebrate Canada the Wanna-Go way! Monday through Thursday, campers will have the opportunity to swim in the guarded pool at the Nick Smith Centre. All campers are required to pass a swim test as outlined on Arnprior.ca/Swimming. On Friday, camp admission includes 1 hour of bowling as well as the movie with popcorn and a drink at O’Brien Theatre. Lunch at JayDog is also provided on Friday. All campers are required to bring their own peanut free snack and lunch except for Friday when a lunch is provided. If your child has any allergies or sensitivities, we ask you to please disclose them prior to the camp start date. Each day, campers will be expected to bring indoor shoes as well as clothing to be outside. Sunscreen is also recommended. There is a late pick-up option that extends to 4:30pm for a fee of $50 for the whole week. We also work with Community Living to accommodate those who require behavioural support. Behavioural Policy The Town of Arnprior is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and harassment-free environment. Coarse language, aggressive, disrespectful, or uncooperative behaviour is not acceptable. If inappropriate behaviour occurs, it will be recorded, reported, and may result in removal from the program and/or facility. Failure to co-operate with all rules and regulations may result in the suspension or revocation of program registration/membership and any associated booking privileges.
